As a member of the World Leadership Alliance Club de Madrid since April 2019, Former President Michel will be participating in the 2024 Imperial Springs International Forum taking place on the 11th to 13th December 2024. This forum is being held in Madrid, Spain, for the first time.

This year marks a significant milestone for both ISIF and Club de Madrid. From the start of 2024, the Imperial Springs International Forum has alternated between China and international locations, enhancing its global reach. This strategic shift underscores the partners’ shared commitment to expanding the impact of this unique platform for dialogue.

As part of its 2023-2025 strategy, Club de Madrid operates in collaboration with China, particularly through the ISIF, to promote effective multilateralism – a constructive voice on the international stage strengthening democratic values, global cooperation, and enhancing capacity to address global challenges while promoting a more inclusive, sustainable, and peaceful world.

The 2024 ISIF agenda will entail plenary discussions, closed-door round table discussions and other thematic sessions, all of which aim to allow distinguished participants the opportunity to exchange key messages and strong recommendations. Running in parallel with the 2024 ISIF, there will also be a meeting amongst Club de Madrid members and advisors to discuss the Club de Madrid 2025 strategy and the World Summit for Social Development.
