James Michel Foundation, Art & Essay Competition.

As part of its advocacy work, the James Michel Foundation is organising two competitions, targeting school children with the aim of increasing their knowledge about the oceans, the Blue Economy and climate change in general. The competitions will also help build their creative confidence and awareness.

  1. A Drawing and Painting competition on the theme “Under the Sea: Keeping it Alive” for primary school children in categories P1 to P3 and P4 to P6.
  2. An essay writing competition on Life Below Water: for People and Planet for S1 to S5 students.

The winning entries will be presented at an exhibition on June 5th to mark World Environment Day. The competition is open to all primary and secondary school students in Seychelles. Entries in both competitions should reach the James Michel Foundation at Espace Building on 17th May at 3.00 pm.
